Home Care

I have decided to offer my own home as a "home away from home" environment after working in the Disability Services for the past 9 years. During this time I found that not all participants cope in respite residences where there were 4 - 5 people all sharing under the same roof. I can offer my home as an alternative to other services. These services will include; 

>  Weekend and weekly support

>  Community access 

>  Participation and Community support 

>  Short Term Accommodation - to support independent living skills, for low level care and amble participants.

I respect and maintain participant privacy, dignity and confidentiality.

 

Outtings

We all like to get out and about and to enjoy all that Warrnambool and our local region has to offer. I regularly support participants to go on day-trips to surrounding towns such as Port Fairy, Timboon, Peterborough and Port Campbell to name a few. The participants that I support enjoy activities such as dining out, visiting new places, community events, markets, local festivals and participate in life skills, like cooking and grocery shopping.
